If love’s like a journey

From the mountains to the sea 

The miles that I have travelled

For the souls that weren’t for me

Tears I have shed

Every time I lost the bet 

With myself being head over heels

Tiny bit of my heart was killed

I’ve yet to find a place that makes me want to stay

But till that day

For some beauty in life is found on paths where we get lost

It’s where lessons are taught  

Through 24 springs, my flowers, they had never bloomed 

So I wandered and gloomed

Trying to get through

The fifth heartbreaking summer

Hearing songs in this dreary weather 

The sounds of rain in my heart 

Rippled through another lonely night

That I laid wide awake 

I keep stumbling, falling apart

When will I find another start?

It might take a little longer than I thought 

To find the place

My heart will still beat for someone new
