Eidyia is a band formed by various musicians from their local music scene to create music that would help them create a name for themselves by writing an album that would both be pleasing to the average listener, but interesting and respected by fellow musicians alike. The purpose of the album was to create a piece in the progressive metal area that was technical and interesting but also very dramatic and dynamic from track to track hoping to express each members particular tastes and talents. Our musical influences range from the modern progressive metals groups such as Periphery,Volumes, Northlane, Cloudkicker, The Contortionist, Erra, Architects, Destiny Potato and many more from the progressive metal/metalcore/"djent" areas, while also heavily taking from more popular artists that were personal favorites of the band such as Circa Survive, PVRIS, Chvrches, Dance Gavin Dance, Tides of Man, as well as many other pop and post-hardcore artists.
